Care City was originally founded by the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham (LBBD) and North-East London Foundation Trust (NELFT) before becoming a Community Interest Company in 2019. We continue to be based in Barking and focus our work within North East London. Our governance is composed of local and national partners, and will strengthen Care City as a platform for morally purposeful health and care innovation for North East London.
