Skills for Care to evaluate our Quality Improvement Programme.
We are delighted to have appointed Skills for Care to undertake the independent evaluation of our Quality Improvement Programme. The Skills for Care team will evaluate the effectiveness of the programme, value for money, sustainability and the overall impact it has had on learners and quality.
The Skills for Care team will work on a consultative basis with us to help develop our recently launched Quality Improvement Programme and the outputs of the evaluation will help to inform future similar projects.
Our new Quality Improvement function aims to improve the effectiveness of health and care services across Barking and Dagenham, Havering, Redbridge and Waltham Forest and make sustainable improvements where required. It complements trust specific programmes and helps to address the challenging issues that require people from across our health and care system to work together collaboratively.

Since launching our QI Programme, we have trained our fifth cohort of health and social care colleagues in the foundations of QI with our most recent module receiving 100% positive feedback.
